ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Randy Rayburn has been a leading force in Nashville's restaurant scene for more than fifty years. His influence reaches beyond the dining room and kitchen to the arts, entertainment, politics, and the support and training of the next generation of restaurant professionals through the Randy Rayburn School for the Culinary Arts at Nashville State Community College. He can be found most days at the front of Midtown Cafe where he is the proprietor. However, with all this activity and success, his two sons, Duke and Dean, are the joy and light of his life.
